We are fortunate at Belton Middle School to have 12 classes throughout the day. We separate all beginners into their specific instruments, while the older students are separated into ability-based groups called the Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble. End-of-Year Placement Auditions happen in April and determine into which ensemble each student will be enrolled the following year. Jazz Band is also available to 7th & 8th grade band students during the school day. Students must use one of their elective choices in order to participate in this ensemble.
