Please note this message is intended only for parents and students of Symphonic Band & Wind Ensemble:
Symphonic Band: Please click here to find our itinerary for next Wednesday’s UIL Concert & Sightreading Evaluation at Lake Belton HS. Students will come to school already dressed in their formal uniform, which is black pants, black belt for gentlemen, black calf-length socks, and black dress shoes. Students will report to the Band Hall at the start of school during 1st period at 8:10am. Students will miss 1st-5th period that day, and will need to make up any missed school work. This will not count against their attendance in school.
Wind Ensemble: Please click here to find our itinerary for next Wednesday’s UIL Concert & Sightreading Evaluation at Lake Belton HS. Students will report to 4th period like usual and then we will feed them Lunch in the Band Hall for free. They will then have time to change into their formal uniform, which is black pants, black belt for gentlemen, black calf-length socks, and black dress shoes. Students will miss their 4th-7th period that day, and will need to make up any missed school work. This will not count against their attendance in school.
Friends and family are welcome to attend this public performance, which is our biggest group contest of the year! Think of this as the Band equivalent to the STAAR test. We need parent chaperones for this event, so please email Mr. Pulley if you can help out that day. We will even provide you Lunch that day for free!
Thank you for your support, and reply to this message with any questions you may have. Best Wishes to both groups as we prepare to compete at UIL!
