SnapRaise Fundraiser Information

We are excited to announce that we have entered into a new partnership with SnapRaise as our fundraiser this year and moving away from selling chocolate. This will help the directors have more time to manage our program, teach our students, and still give your child the opportunity to ask for financial support from relatives, businesses, and social groups.

If you choose to participate, you will be asked to login to our secure campaign website built specifically for our band program. Your student, with your help, will be asked to gather 20+ email addresses. These email addresses and contacts are strictly protected and are not shared or sold outside of this fundraiser. After your student uploads their contacts, the fundraiser platform takes care of the rest. Remember, it’s all online, so you can invite relatives and friends from across the nation or even another country!

We will send another message soon to allow you to create an account and register for this fundraiser. You will then pre-load 20+ email addresses of only legitimate potential donors, NOT other students, fake emails, etc. Our campaign starts in 2 weeks on Wednesday, September 13 and runs until Wednesday, October 11. All emails should be pre-loaded by September 13, and once our fundraiser launches, people will receive the message asking them to donate. You can also share your student’s personalized fundraiser page via text and social media!

SnapRaise is one of the safest options for our program to raise money. Not only does their fully digital approach eliminate the need for door-to-door sales, but the security of raising money using a PCI compliant platform gives peace of mind. Our students’ digital security is also a top priority, and their privacy and property are strictly protected. Your student can engage their network of fans and raise money utilizing the online website, all while safely protecting their personal information.

Please message Mr. Pulley if you have any questions about our fundraiser.

After School Sectional Schedule

Please note this message is for the students and parents of Wind Ensemble & Symphonic Band only:

Thank you to those who filled out our Fall sectional survey so we can create the best schedule for our after school sectionals that start next week (August 28) and go until Friday, November 3. Except for a couple of students, I believe we have been able to avoid athletics games, though students will be missing one practice per week to attend for Band. We are currently working directly with the coaches so everyone is on the same page and no student or parent is caught in the middle sharing between the activities.

Students are expected to “Be Punctual” and arrive seated with all materials and ready to rehearse at 4pm sharp or their grade will be affected. Students 1-5 minutes late will have their sectional grade (daily) reduced to an 85. Students who are late 5-15 minutes will have their grade reduced to a 70. Students arriving more than 15 minutes late will receive a 50. These grades replace the practice records used in previous years. Please be sure to pick up your student promptly at 5pm at the bus loop by the Cafeteria.

Here is the schedule for this Fall that starts next week until Friday, November 3:

– Mondays: Flutes and Tubas

– Tuesdays: Clarinets

– Wednesdays: Double Reeds (Oboes & Bassoons); Trumpets, Trombones, & Euphoniums, and Percussion

– Thursdays: Saxophones and Horns
