New Band Parent Meeting
Parents who are new to the Belton MS Band should plan on attending this presentation that is followed by an individual question-and-answer session this Thursday, August 10 from 5:30-6:30pm in the BMS Band Hall. This happens right after Tiger Camp where students and parents are invited to pick up their schedule, Chromebook, and meet school staff and walk around the school much like an orientation.

Make plans to attend Band Registration in 2 weeks on Monday, July 31 from 9am-6pm (come and go) in the BMS Band Hall. Important M100 Summer Dates
FOURTH OF JULY PARADE – The Marching 100 will perform in the Belton 4th of July Parade! We will rehearse on Monday, July 3 and perform on Tuesday, July 4. Below are the schedules for the events:
MONDAY, JULY 3 – PARADE REHEARSAL
Attire: Comfortable clothes for outdoor rehearsal and tennis shoes.
What to Bring: Instrument, flip folder, large water bottle, sunscreen, and hats/sweatbands/sunglasses.
8:15am – Band Hall Opens
9:00am – Rehearsal Begins
10:00am – Winds/Percussion Transition to Practice Field
10:15am – Parade Rehearsal
12:00pm – Rehearsal Ends
Students should be drinking lots of water before and after practice, as well as before and after the parade. It is also important that students eat a balanced breakfast before reporting each day. If possible, students should spend some time outside in the days prior to the parade to help with heat acclimation.
TUESDAY, JULY 4 – PARADE PERFORMANCE
Attire: Red M100 T-Shirt, solid black athletic shorts, and tennis shoes.
What to Bring: Instrument (no cases), flip folder, sunscreen, and patriotic decorations for yourself or your instrument.
8:15am – Arrive at Pearl Street at UMHB
8:30am – Warm-Up
9:00am – Judging Portion of Parade Begins
10:00am – Parade Begins
11:00am – Approximate Parade End Time
