There are 2 weeks left until EOY Placement Auditions for both BMS and the M100 so you should be hearing your student practicing scales and sightreading at home. We also need donations of tissues for the Band Hall since Spring Fever has hit our students! The last chance to turn in Spring Trip Forms and Money is this Friday, April 11 at 4pm. Solo Contest for Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble is this Saturday, April 12 at BMS. All students have now received information for next year’s placement auditions starting the week of April 21. Last Friday, 8th graders interested in joining the M100 were given audition instructions and music. Click here to access the folder that contains all of the wind audition etudes and information sheet labeled “READ THIS FIRST! M100 Audition Information Sheet 2025”. Please be sure your student reads all of the information on this sheet so they are fully prepared for the upcoming audition.

Additionally, student needs to fill out this form ASAP located by clicking here so Mr. Kwaku can create a schedule for the auditions that are held at the Belton HS Band Hall after school on the week of April 21-25.

The last grade eligibility check for the Spring Trip is this Friday, April 4. Students must be passing all classes with a 70 or above to be eligible for the trip. All trip forms and money are due no later than Friday, April 11 – no exceptions.

Submissions for the 8th Grade Shirt are due by Friday, April 11 as well. Congratulations to our Jazz Band for received First Superior ratings at the Temple Jazz Festival last Thursday.
