Beginners have their first performance this Thursday, and Jazz Band has theirs next week. All the details can be found in the newsletter. Parent/Teacher Conference Day is Friday, October 31 and you can now sign up for a time if you are interested. Region Pass-Off 6 is due this Friday for those advanced students going to the All-Region Auditions in College Station on Saturday, November 8. Contained in this week’s newsletter is detailed information about the Beginner Sit-In Concert next week. Also, the end of the First 9 Weeks is this Wednesday so students need to have ALL work turned in for all of their classes in order to maintain eligibility. Week of September 29 Newsletter

Contained in this week’s newsletter is our fundraiser recap and Beginners have their first performance at the Sit-In Concert on Thursday, October 16 starting at 6:30pm in the Belton MS Cafeteria. 

All-Region Pass-Offs 1-5 for Symphonic Band & Wind Ensemble are due no later than Wednesday, October 8. We also need parent chaperones for both Jazz Band’s performance at the VA on Tuesday, October 21 AND at the All-Region Auditions in College Station on Saturday, November 8. Newsletter for the Week of September 15

We have surpassed our fundraising goal thanks to the efforts of our parents and students – THANK YOU! By the end of this week, Beginners will get to take their instrument home to practice for at least 25 minutes a day, 5 days per week. Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble have 2 events this week: Rehearsal from 5-6pm on Wednesday and MS Band Night 5:30-9:00pm on Friday.
