Also, the end of the First 9 Weeks is this Wednesday so students need to have ALL work turned in for all of their classes in order to maintain eligibility. Contained in this week’s newsletter is our fundraiser recap and Beginners have their first performance at the Sit-In Concert on Thursday, October 16 starting at 6:30pm in the Belton MS Cafeteria. 

All-Region Pass-Offs 1-5 for Symphonic Band & Wind Ensemble are due no later than Wednesday, October 8. We also need parent chaperones for both Jazz Band’s performance at the VA on Tuesday, October 21 AND at the All-Region Auditions in College Station on Saturday, November 8. As we wind down our fundraiser, I am happy to report that we have doubled our initial goal! We have surpassed our fundraising goal thanks to the efforts of our parents and students – THANK YOU! By the end of this week, Beginners will get to take their instrument home to practice for at least 25 minutes a day, 5 days per week. Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble have 2 events this week: Rehearsal from 5-6pm on Wednesday and MS Band Night 5:30-9:00pm on Friday.

Our once-a-year Fundraiser kicks off tomorrow and students will be setting up their donation website in class tomorrow. If they haven’t already, please have your student bring their contacts list of possible donors TOMORROW! Payments for uniforms, school-owned instruments, and auto decals are due by this Friday.
