All-Region Band Results for BMS

Last Saturday, over 360 students participated from 9 area middle schools in the TMEA All-Region Band Auditions in College Station. Students have been working diligently on scales and etudes since August in preparation for the most individually competitive event we have all year long. From the anonymous judging panels, 19 of our students were named to the All-Region Band! An additional 2 students were named as alternates. The Region Concert will occur this Saturday, November 9 starting at 5pm in the Belton HS PAC.

  • Eli P. placed 1st out of 14 bassoons, 1st Chair Symphonic Band, AND is a 2-Year All-Region Member

Information for Thursday’s Beginner Sit-In Concert

Please note this information is intended for parents of Beginner’s Ensemble students:

Our Beginner Sit-In Concert is coming up next Thursday, October 17 at Belton MS. Students will need to arrive no later than 6:15pm and everyone should use the H7 entrance of the Cafeteria in order to avoid the volleyball game happening at the same time. Please click here for a parking map that contains a more detailed view.

Parking will be limited due to the volleyball game, so it is suggested that parents drop off their student first and then park in the Overflow Parking area indicated on the map at the link above. Students should be seated and ready to start with all their materials no later than 6:25pm, and our concert starts at 6:30pm. The concert will last no longer than an hour and please click here for the information flyer that contains all the details for this major grade.
