Spring Trip Parent Meeting TOMORROW at 5:30pm in the Band Hall, plus our Spring Concert & Awards Ceremony is Tuesday at the HS PAC. We will post audition results this Friday at 8am followed by our medals & ribbons presentation to students during class that day. Our Spring Trip is this Saturday, followed by Beginners’ performance at the Temple College Contest on Wednesday, May 14. Beginners have 2 after school rehearsals this Monday & Tuesday, 4-5pm. M100 8th graders have fundamentals camp Monday-Wednesday, as well as a M100 parent meeting this Monday at 7pm both at the HS Band Hall. Jazz Band concert this Thursday starting at 6:30pm in the PAC. All Spring Trip Permission Forms are due by this Friday at 4pm. M100 Percussion Auditions are this Friday starting at 5pm in the HS Band Hall. All students have Placement Auditions this week, so Be Prepared! Next week, Beginners have after school group rehearsals and 8th grade M100 members have Fundamentals Camp. There are 2 weeks left until EOY Placement Auditions for both BMS and the M100 so you should be hearing your student practicing scales and sightreading at home. We also need donations of tissues for the Band Hall since Spring Fever has hit our students! The last chance to turn in Spring Trip Forms and Money is this Friday, April 11 at 4pm. Solo Contest for Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble is this Saturday, April 12 at BMS. All students have now received information for next year’s placement auditions starting the week of April 21.
