High School Band Audition Information

Last Friday, 8th graders interested in joining the M100 were given audition instructions and music. Click here to access the folder that contains all of the wind audition etudes and information sheet labeled “READ THIS FIRST! M100 Audition Information Sheet 2025”. Please be sure your student reads all of the information on this sheet so they are fully prepared for the upcoming audition.

Additionally, student needs to fill out this form ASAP located by clicking here so Mr. Kwaku can create a schedule for the auditions that are held at the Belton HS Band Hall after school on the week of April 21-25.

Percussion students should contact Mr. Smith for the details concerning Belton Drumline Auditions. Feel free to contact Mr. Kwaku directly if you have any questions regarding M100 Placement Auditions.

Newsletter – Week of March 30


The last grade eligibility check for the Spring Trip is this Friday, April 4. Students must be passing all classes with a 70 or above to be eligible for the trip. All trip forms and money are due no later than Friday, April 11 – no exceptions.

Submissions for the 8th Grade Shirt are due by Friday, April 11 as well. Congratulations to our Jazz Band for received First Superior ratings at the Temple Jazz Festival last Thursday. We hope everyone had a great spring break and are ready to return to school to finish these last 9 weeks strong! Personalized Spring Trip Eligibility Statements will be distributed to students this week and a hard deadline of Friday, April 11 has been set to return the form and any payment due. Congratulations to both the Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble for earning Sweepstakes at the recent UIL Concert & Sightreading Evaluation! We are so proud of our students hard work and performance! The Temple Jazz Festival performance is coming up on Thursday, March 27 and we really need chaperones to help.
